A series of chrysin derivatives were prepared from 2-hydroxyacetophenone, 2,4-dihydroxyacetophenone, 2,4,6- trihydroxy- acetophenone, using modified Baker-Venkataraman transformation. Their anticancer activities in vitro were evaluated by the standard MTT method.
